Dorothy Louise Winders Stanfield, a former Henryetta resident, died April 11, 2024 in Portland Oregon. She was born Nov. 3, 1925 in Henryetta to John and Daisy (Morgan) Winders.
Dorothy attended Henryetta schools before moving to San Diego California in 1943. In San Diego, she met and married Howard Brightman. They moved to Portland in 1946. She was a 28-year employee of Pacific Northwest Bell, retiring in 1980. She went on to wed Robert Wilson in 1975. In 1980, Dorothy retired and the pair moved to Phoenix, Arizona. While in Phoenix, Dorothy was active in the Ladies Oriental Shrine, moving up the chairs to become High Priestess. Upon Robert’s, passing she met and married Gordon Stanfield. Dorothy returned to live in Portland in August of 2023.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands and parents; brother, Kenneth Winders; twin sister, Eleanor Wilson, Wanda Jo Tunnel and Tillie Winders Rea; and her son, Alan Christy Brightman.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Steve (Linda) Brightman, Sandi (Rich) Pavlock, and Debbie (Bob) Sattergren; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren; nephew Bruce Jones of Henryetta; nieces Nancy Dreixler, Beavercreek, Oregon and Jane Skipworth, Astoria.
No services are planned.
George Hill, a Henryetta resident died April 18, 2024 in Henryetta at the age of 76. Funeral services are pending with Integrity Funeral Service.
Patricia (Patty) Hines was born Dec. 8, 1952 in Henryetta to Jack and Mary Hines. Patty was not only the apple of their eye but the namesake of their business, The Patty Ann Restaurant, and later the Patty Ann Steak House. She worked off and on at the Restaurant growing up, then at the steak house even after she graduated from high school and moved to Tulsa.
In Tulsa Patty worked in several retail establishments then in late 2004 she went to work at OU-Tulsa.
She died April 14, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents; brother Frank Sanders; sisters Wilma Anglin, Wilda Bunyard and Wanda Sanders; nieces Barbara Nance and Debi Woodard and nephew Lenny Anglin.
She is survived by her partner in life and laughs, Julie Lamprich, nieces Jannie Coleman and Connie Anglin, nephew Mike Murdock, Julie's nephew Justin Lamprich and wife Angela, in addition to many great nieces and great nephews, as well as a host of friends.
Graveside services will be held May 3 2024 at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa. A celebration of life will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Baxter’s Interurban Grill in Tulsa.

Leo Lee Hicks a resident of Checotah, died April 13, 2024 at the age of 57. He was born May 27, 1966 in Claremore to Leo Lee and Liza Hicks Sr. Lee graduated from Henryetta High School in the class of 1985 and worked as a welder.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sons: Leo Lee III and Brian Shane Hicks; sister Diane Hicks.
Leo is survived by his daughter Leslie Hicks of Henryetta; son Matthew Hicks of Henryetta; grandchildren: Kelsie Doyle, Brian Hicks, Aubrie Hicks and Sophia Hicks.
A Wake service will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday at the Weogufkee Indian Baptist Church in Hanna.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Weogufkee Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Mitchell Taylor and Rev. Eugene Whitlow, officiating. Interment will Be at the Weogufkee Church Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
Albert Lee “Bert” Suiter a former Henryetta resident, died April 11, 2024 in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 84. He was born July 3, 1939 in Dewar to Buster and Lorene (Yandle) Suiter who preceded him in death. Bert’s son John Allen Suiter also preceded him in Death.
Bert had a distinguished career in the Coast Guard. Bert also served in two other Branches of the Military before he chose his career with the Coast Guard. Bert retired from the Coast Guard April 1, 1982, with many honors and awards including: 1st & 2nd Coast Guard Good Conduct Award, National Defense Service Medal, Antarctica Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, Coast Guard Unit Commendation with Gold Star and “O” Device, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Cutter’s Man Insignia, and a Coast Guard Achievement Medal.
Bert is survived by his brother Jim Suiter (Phyliss); sisters Nancy Suiter and Mary Beltran; daughter Kelly Morrison (Doug); granddaughter Jessica Morrison; grandson Brandon Morrison (Rachael); great grandson Kaleb Novak; great granddaughters Mayce Novak, Tilley Morrison, and Piper Morrison; his son Terry Suiter (Lisa); grandson Kyle Suiter (Morgan); great grandson Landyn Suiter; grandson Brent Suiter (Payton); niece Shelly Harris (Michael); great nephew Andrew (Savannah); great, great nephew Lucas Harris; great niece Madeline; great nephew Matthew; niece Jennifer Wiggington, great niece Alexandria Wiggington.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Barton, officiating. Interment with full Military Honors provided by the US Coast Guard, at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
