Billy Ray Taber, a resident of Henryetta, died May 18, 2019 in Okmulgee at the age of 84. He was born May 5, 1935 in Hanna to Willie Houston and Mary Elizabeth Ann (Mott) Taber. Bill married Doris Roberts June 29, 1953. He worked at Eagle Picher Smelter, OKC Refinery in Okmulgee, owned and operated Taber Texaco and retired from Oklahoma Dept. Of Transportation. He is a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sisters; Lorene Hunter, Doris Hardgrave and Ann Baggs.
He is survived by his wife Doris Taber of the home; daughters: Beverly Henson and husband Donnie of Okmulgee, Belinda King and husband Cliff of Gulf Shores, Ala.; grandchildren: Aaron Henson and wife Bethany; Meredith Talley and husband Dustin; Trevor Henson and wife Lauren; Colin “Chummy” Henson; Whitlee Peitz and husband Alex; great grandchildren: Rayleigh and Molly “pop” Henson; Brant and Flynn Talley; Harper and Hayes Henson; brother: Dee Taber of Dewar.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 21 at the Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Brayden Buss officiating. Interment will follow at the New Senora under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
Jim Calvin died May 17, 2019 in Catoosa at the age of 83. Funeral services are pending with the Rogers Funeral Home.
Jeremy Lee Keith, a resident of Okemah, died May 16, 2019 in Okemah at the age of 32. He was born Aug. 17, 1986 in Stillwater.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his son, Charlie Keith, daughter, Leeann Keith, brother, Dillian Keith, grandfather, Charles Vaughn, and by his grandmother, Sharon Canning.
Jeremy is survived by his daughter, Isabella Keith; parents, Tracy and Shelly Oneal; mother, Becky Brown; grandmother, Pat Vaughn,
aunt Kimberly Vaughn; three brothers: Boogie Brown, Kelby Carter and Ryker Brown; two sisters: Brandi Brown, Mattie Oneal all of Okemah; grandfather, R.L. Oneal; former wife, mother of Charlie Keith, Jordan Keith; former partner, Mother of Leeann and Isabella, Levenna Cantrell; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Dewar First Baptist Church with Wesley VanMeter and Robert Bray, officiating. Interment will be at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be his brothers: Jason Rhine, Kenny Rhine, Jace Smith, Tommy Smallwood, T.J. Mordecai, and James Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Boogie Brown, Kelby Carter, Ryker Brown and Jonathan Bray.
Mrs. Johnnie Mae Berry, a longtime resident of Henryetta, died May 11, 2019.
Johnnie was a graduate of Schulter High School and retired as a lab technician with Kelco Corporation after more than 13 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jules and Lenice Dock both of Schulter, her husband of 37 years, Bobby, also by five brothers, Jim, Bill, Eli, Junior, and Cecil.
She is survived by her two children, Karen Wilkerson of the home and Kenneth Berry and wife Robbie of Henryetta; two sisters, Amy Estep of Okmulgee and Wanda Branstetter of Gulfport, Mississippi; seven grandchildren: Scotty, Heather, Jonathan, Samantha, Aleshia, D.J. and Miranda; six great grandchildren: Ty, David, Stormi, Dodge, Elias, and Kaden; also a host of neices and nephews.
Viewing for Johnnie will be from noon until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be, Scotty Keller, Jonathan Berry, K. J. Williamson, Andy Britt, Jason Dock and John Dock. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Estep, Ty Reid, and David Reid.

Longtime Henryetta and Dewar area resident Lloyd Dwayne Barnett died May 6, 2019 in Katy, Texas at the age of 79 after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Lloyd was one of nine children born to Grover and Artie Barnett in Henryetta.
He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Judith Ann Barnett; his parents; brothers, J.T., Cap, Junior and a sister, Nancy Whaley.
Lloyd served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in San Antonio and later in Guam. He also served in the Oklahoma National Guard, 45th Infantry Brigade.
Lloyd worked for years as an industrial X-ray technician before starting his own X-ray and heat-treating business.
Lloyd is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Clark and husband Jeff of Lake Charles, LA; son Todd and wife Lori of Fulshear, TX; grandsons Chandler and Parker Barnett; granddaughter Sandie Clark; brothers Johnny, Troy, Glen and Robert as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in Sulphur, LA.
