There is a need for coats and winter clothing for some Henryetta children. That need was brought to light earlier this month when schools closed down in order to prevent children from enduring bitter wind chills.
To combat that problem and help youngsters, members of the Henryetta high school National Honor Society is sponsoring a coat drive.
Coats, scarves, gloves and hats are being accepted by the students along with any cash donations people want to make.
Those donations will be going to students from pre-k through high school. They can be dropped off at the high school office during school hours.
