A high speed chase through Henryetta and down Dustin Road Tuesday afternoon resulted in a crash and an arrest warrant being issued.
The chase started when an Okmulgee County Sheriff's deputy tried to stop a pickup and the driver sped away.
sheriffThat vehicle drove through Henryetta then turned south on Dustin Road with speeds surpassing 80 miles an hour.
Two Henryetta police officers grid to stop the suspect who led them to a county road north of Graham then down into a field.
One of the police cars driven by Brandon England crashed into a fence post causing minor damage to his vehicle.
The chase ended when the suspect struck a tree. The driver fled the area on foot resulting in a manhunt that lasted for several hours.
County sheriff Eddy Rice said a cell phone and some drugs were found in the crashed pickup.
"We have started the request for an arrest warrant for Bengamin Clayton Frair," sheriff Rice Said late Tuesday.
Frair, 40, has an extensive arrest record in both Okmulgee and Okfuskee counties.
