The arrest of a 19-year-old Henryettan ended a several-hours-long hunt early Tuesday morning.
William Blake Lehmkuhl was booked into the Okmulgee County jail on complaints of pointing a deadly weapon and reckless conduct with a weapon.
According to Henryetta police chief Steve Norman, officers were called to a disturbance on West Gentry late Monday night.
An individual was alleged to have fired a 12-gauge shotgun into the air and had been making several threats.
When officers arrived, the suspect had fled the scene. He was finally brought into custody following a traffic stop on Fourth Street.
That was the second time Henryetta officers had been involved in an arrest.
Earlier in the day, OHP Trooper Ray Choate had tried to stop a speeding vehicle on Interstate 40 near Okemah. The car sped away eastbound. Henryetta officers tried to set up a roadblock just west of town but the individual failed to stop.
After turning south on the Indian Nation Turnpike and running several vehicles off the road, Trooper Choate performed a PIT maneuver that disabled the vehicle.
Arrested was Darious moon of Vian. He was booked into the Okfuskee County jail on a complaint of attempting to elude.
