Samantha Jo Stansifer will be facing a jury trial on charges of first degree murder.
She was bound over for trial Tuesday after a preliminary hearing in Okmulgee court.
stansiferStansifer, 20, was arrested in June after she allegedly stabbed Jim Anthony Hall to death at a home on West Dixie.
At the preliminary hearing, Henryetta police officers Matt Duke and Jeremy Wade described how they found Hall lying on a blood-soaked bed.
Stansifer is said to have called the police department that morning at first giving only the house address then calling back saying she killed her boyfriend but, "couldn't kill myself."
HPD lt. Duke said when he arrived at the scene, he first saw Stansifer coming around the house, "covered in blood."
He testified he had officer John Wood place her in handcuffs then the two officers entered the home. Two people in the house were detained for questioning.
The 23-year-old Hall was found in a bedroom in the northwest corner of the house.
Stansifer was emotionless as she sat in the jury box during the preliminary hearing.
A psychological examination had been performed on her earlier this summer to determine if she was able to stand trial.
