Usually a few weeks or even a month or more goes by before a new business holds a ribbon cutting ceremony.
This week, two new stores officially opened their doors and a change of ownership in an existing business were celebrated.
mailbox ribbonKnights Mail and Printing Plus, owned by Kathy and Ken Knight, is open for business. The store located next to Jiffy Mart on the Lake road, provides mail box rentals as well as specialty printing products.
main street sweetsAnother new business is Main Street Sweets, located at 416 West Main, is owned by Karrie Layman and Claudia Pollard. The store is dedicated to providing a source for all types of candies and confectionaries for young and old.
Stacy and Heath Lawson are the new owners of Rheba's Flowers at 418 West Main. The couple purchased the store earlier this fall and have been getting it ready for the holiday season.
