pancakes
On a cold morning like Saturday, there is nothing better than a heaping stack of pancakes, sausage and biscuits.
That meal was being served up from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Henryetta Church of Christ in an effort to help fight cancer.
The $5 for each ticket sold will be going to Gene Hudson and the American Cancer Society. Hudson is currently undergoing treatment for colorectal cancer.
"This was a success," said one of the breakfast organizers, Cheryl Boatner. "I want to thank everyone who attended. This will make a big impact on both Gene Hudson and the American Cancer Society."
Pam Boatright was the winner of a Rustic Cuff Stack of braclets from Burnett Boutique.
