A day after announcing the discovery of some burned human remains, Okmulgee Police and The District 25 Violent Crime Task Force have identified a person of interest in the murder case.
Deanna JonesAccording to Okmulgee police chief Joe Prentice, 35-year-old Deanna Jones is believed to have information regarding the murder.
"Jones has also used the last names of Gutierrez, and Phillips. Okmulgee County District Court has issued a Material Witness Warrant for Jones," Prentice said.
"She is reportedly in the company of 35-year-old Robert Jason Jones said to be her husband. He is also wanted on a probation violation."

Those human remains have been turned over to the Oklahoma Medical Examiner but no official identification has been made.
