April 23 will be the date for the annual Henryetta Relay for Life. That date was announced Monday at the kickoff rally held in the Dewar community center.
Set at Cameron Stadium, this year's Relay will start at 2 and run through midnight.
In addition to games, actives and refreshments, the event will include the annual Luminaria ceremony honoring those who have fallen to the disease. The Survivor's Lap will honor men, women and children who have battled against the disease.
Teams of families, businesses and organizations will be raising money for Relay.
Relay For Life is a celebration of cancer survivorship and a fun way to raise the vital funds needed to help find a cure for cancer. The event will celebrate the lives of local residents who have survived cancer, while offering the hope of finding a cure.
