Hazel Marie (Luellen) Williams, a longtime resident of Henryetta, died Jan. 15, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 91. She was born May 20, 1924 in Henryetta to Walter Lee Smith and Melvina (Bailey) Smith. She worked as a cook at various places including Graham Schools, Holiday Inn and she worked at Fountain View Manor as an aide. She was a member of Dewar First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents Walter Lee Smith and Melvina (Bailey) Smith, by her husband Bill Luellen and husband Odell Williams. She is also preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by five children: Georgia Morgan and husband John of Henryetta, Larry Luellen and wife Clemma Rose of Henryetta, Beverly Deemer and husband Justin of Norman, Erma Collins and husband Charley of Broken Arrow and Sue Green and husband Buddy of Henryetta; 13 grandchildren: Karen Brewer, Sherry Noah, Jackie Pangle, David Thompson, DeAndra Downer, Michael Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Tina Hutchison, Amy Dillard, Kevin Green, Keith Green, and Bradley Luellen, Rodney Luellen; 34 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren; brother, G.C. Smith and wife Donna of Maryland; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jackie Pangle, Brad Luellen, Rodney Luellen, David Thompson, Keith Green, and Kevin Green. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Dewar First Baptist Church with David Thompson officiating, assisted by Rev. Jack Vance and Rev. Ernie Margworth. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
