Two people were arrested shortly after a burglary Wednesday morning.
Gideon Embry, 34, and Kayla Young, 25, were booked into the Okmulgee County jail following a home burglary on Old Morris Highway.
According to county sheriff Eddy Rice, the break-in was discovered when the homeowner saw two people carrying items from the home.
The property owner called 911 while following the suspects. They were apprehended a short time later by county deputies, District 25 DA's Task Force and Okmulgee Police.
Both were charged with second degree burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled, dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Embry was also cared with assault and battery on a police officer. He also has several other outstanding warrants rom both Okmulgee and McIntosh counties.
