Gloria Lynn "Dobie" Webster, a longtime Henryetta resident, died Feb. 24, 2016 in Tulsa at the age of 64. Gloria was born Aug. 7, 1951 in Henryetta to Herbert Pippin and Uthana Parker Pippin.
Gloria grew up in Henryetta and attended Henryetta Public Schools, before graduating from Henryetta High School with the Class of 1969. She later attended Northeast Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah and graduated in 1973 with a bachelors degree in Education. Gloria worked for several years as an elementary educator with Wilson Public School, Henryetta Public Schools, Okmulgee Public Schools and Morris Public Schools.
Gloria is preceded in death by her mother and father; and her brother, Michael Pippin.
She is survived by two sons, Jeremy Webster and wife Jamie of Morris, and Clint Webster and wife Sarah of Dallas, TX; a daughter, Jennifer Webster and fiancee Lance Smith of Broken Arrow; her ex-husband and father of her children, Jerry Webster of Henryetta; a sister, Beverly Poulton of Henryetta; two nephews, Steven Poulton and Stewart Poulton, both of Henryetta; and grandchildren Devin Webster, Ashlyn Webster, Camryn Webster, Ian Webster, Trey Dover, Dominique Zackery, and another grandchild on the way; and by other extended family and many good friends.
Viewing for Gloria will be held Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Integrity Funeral Service from 2 until 8 p.m.
A memorial service for Gloria will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church, south of Henryetta, with Rev. Scott Wolfe officiating. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
