Monday saw several people put their names up for city elections around the county.
In Henryetta, Mike Pemberton has filed for the Ward 2 seat now held by Audie Cole.
As of 3 p.m. Monday, no one has come forward for the Ward 1 position now held by Denny Hold.
Dewar's candidate list saw Amber Trison filing for their council seat 1, David Heath for the seat 2 and Amber Smith for council seat 3. Still open is the council seat 5.
Morris has Carolyn Haworth filing for the position of Mayor. Still at large are council seats one through 4.
Emma Hill has filed for the Beggs city treasurer's position. There are openings for the city clerk as well as ward 2 and ward 4 seats.
