Henryetta and Beggs will be the only two communities in the county with municipal elections.
At the end of the filing period Wednesday, six people have their names in the ring for the two Henryetta council seats.
Looking for voters for the Henryetta Ward 1 position will be Darrell Coppedge, Shannon Scott and Michelle Broome Stremme.
In Ward 2, Christy Jeffcoat, Lucy Peoples and former council member Richard Larney are the candidates. Two other candidates, Ronald Lee, and Mike Pemberton withdrew from the race.
In Beggs, there are two candidates for the council Ward 4 spot and two for the Beggs city clerk's position. Burt Jones and Lanissa Jack Melton are candidates for Ward 4 while Doris M. Tharp and O.G. Corky Thompson are the candidates for the city clerk's office.
Verna J. Barnes won the Beggs Ward 2 race with no opposition filing.
Taking seats on the Dewar Board of Trustees automatically after no challengers filed will be: Amber Brison, Office 1, David Heath, Office 2, Amber Smith, Office 3 and Kevin Westmoreland, Office 5.
In Morris, Carolyn Haworth was not challenged for the Mayor's position while Wayne Payne will represent Ward 1, Sarah Fay Amador for Ward 3 and Shawn Maverick Fritsche for Ward 4.
The city elections will be held April 7.
