Dewar students moved one step closer to graduation Wednesday night as they attended baccalaureate services.
Held at the Dewar United Pentecostal church, the service included a special musical presentation by Dakota Ray Cantrell and Kara Leigh-Ann Stephens.
Tracey Howk, youth pastor at the Dewar First Baptist Church, delivered the sermon. Talking about love and faithfulness, he said the hardest thing the graduates will do is be challenged to be faithful to those they are closest to.
"Hold on to faithfulness. You can't control what others do."
The seniors will be getting their diplomas Friday night.
