There were three miles or more of people "Draggin' Main" and a downtown full of people walking around having fun Saturday night.
Henryetta's Cruise Knight 2016 was bigger than ever with all kinds of cars being shown off as well as friends and neighbors enjoying the sights.
One incident marred the event when a juvenile was struck by a pickup. That young boy sustained a broken foot and the driver of the truck failed to stop after the accident. That vehicle was described as a Chevrolet extended cab pickup either sandstone or light gray in color. Police are investigating the mishap. Anyone with knowledge of the vehicle or the driver is being encouraged to contact the police.
Staci Alsover, coordinator of the event, said this is the best one ever and has already scheduled another in October.
Starting off the activities was the burnout contest held next to O'Reilly's Auto Parts. Smoking tires and screaming engines delighted the over 200 people attending. CLICK HERE to see videos and photos of the burnout contest.
