Frank Ray Duca, a resident of Henryetta, died June 18, 2016 in Henryetta at the age of 88. He was born April 13, 1928 in Dewar to Frank R. Duca, Sr. and Eva (Holmes) Duca.
He was raised in and around the area of Henryetta most of his youth.
He was a WWII Army veteran and served as a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne. After his discharge he returned to Henryetta and married Mary Prewitt in 1950. They moved to Southern California in late 1953 to work for the Kaiser Steel Corporation and remained there to work and raise his family until his retirement in 1980. After retiring, he and Mary came back home to Oklahoma to live at their ranch in Ryal. After retiring from the ranch,Frank and Mary moved to Henryetta where they lived until his death.
Frank is preceeded in death by his parents, Frank and Eva Duca, his brother Alfred, and a grandson, Wesley.
He is survived by his wife Mary (Prewitt) Duca, son Bobby (Gerri); daughters, Barbara, and Lizabeth (Tom) all of California; nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
There will be no service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Disabled Veterans.
