Limbs of all sizes were stripped from trees and outdoor furniture scattered around Thursday morning following a fast-moving storm. The area was lit up by intense lightning flashes and streets temporarily flooded as the rain ripped through the area in the early morning hours. More storms were forecast for the afternoon breaking up a week of high humidity.
