Debbs Underwood, a resident of Choctaw, died July 23, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 96. He was born Aug. 25th, 1919 in Kusa to Pete Underwood and Hattie (Green) Underwood.
He worked as a V-Groove machine operator for U.S. Plywood in Seattle for many years. He was a member of the Wood Workers Union and attended Valley View Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Margaret Underwood, his second wife, Mary (Slane) Underwood, a brother, Dee Underwood, three sisters, Jackie Tidwell, Belle Hunter, and Evelyn Crawford.
He is survived by two children: Ann Molet of Choctaw and Jim Underwood and wife Anna Marie of Lake Stevens, Wash.;  brother, Harles James Underwood of Schulter; sister, Beulah Jones of Pawnee; six grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild s well as a host of friends and other relatives.
Viewing will be Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
