Henryetta police apprehended three juveniles early Tuesday morning after a short vehicle pursuit.
Officers tried to pull over a suspected stolen vehicle shortly after midnight but the driver of the car tried to outrun officers. It was finally stopped on North Sixth and three juveniles ranging in age from 16 to 17 years old, tried to run from the car.
They were quickly apprehended and taken to the police department for questioning.
Police chief Steve Norman said the three, all from Boley, said they had come to Henryetta to burglarize some vehicles. "We think they may be involved in a series of auto break-ins that have been hitting Henryetta and this end of the county for several weeks," Norman said.
Officers are still looking into the connection between the three and those break-ins.
