Clips, clothes, crayons and even cookies were available at the Dewar First Baptist Church Monday night. For the third year, the church was the center of attention as youngsters got ready to head back to school. Volunteers were available to give free haircuts so the students will look their best on the first day of class. A clothes closet provided some wearing apparel and there were school supplies available to start the students off. The two hour event also provided parents an opportunity to make their plans for the school year and enjoy some refreshments at the same time. Students will report to class Aug. 17. An open house will be held at the school Aug. 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
