| Children heading back to school need all the basics from paper to pencils, crayons and notebooks. Those supplies will be waiting for students at Henryetta Elementary when they start class next week through donations from the Henryetta McDonalds Restaurant and First United Methodist Church. Backpacks filled with supplies as well as boxes of paper and other classroom necessities were delivered to the grade school this week. The pupils will be spending their first full day in the classrooms August 17. The schools will host an open house August 16 from 3 to 6 p.m. According to superintendent Dwayne Noble, office staff will be attending a mandatory CPR training class Aug. 16. |
