Diane Lynn Taber, a resident of Okmulgee died Aug. 29, 2016 in Okmulgee at the age of 53. She was born April 13, 1963 in Henryetta to Gene Harvey Nelson and Thelma Marie (Wilmoth) Nelson.
She married Stony Taber Oct. 20, 1979 at First Baptist Church in Dewar. She worked as a waitress for many years at various restaurants in the area.
She is survived by her husband Stony of the home; three daughters: Jody Lockwood and husband Ray of Bonita Springs, Fla., April Swatsenbarg and husband Bobby of Okmulgee and Sarah McKay and husband Steven of Henryetta; eight grandchildren: Poyson Ivy Barnes, River Barnes, Sky McKay, Stony McKay, Phoenix McKay, Mary Violet Swatsenbarg, Shyla Swatsenbarg, and Bristol Swatsenbarg, also by a host of friends and other relatives.
A memorial service is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2016 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.
