Willie Charley Randall was born in Henryetta to Timmie and Rosie (West) Randall Jan. 10, 1931. He died Aug. 26, 2016 in Tulsa at the age of 85.
Willie served his country as a corporal in the US Army during the Korean War. He later worked in shipping and receiving for Sears until his retirement. He served as pastor of Grave Creek Church until 2013 and was acting deacon until that time.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents Timmie and Rosie Randall, sons Nelson Randall and Donnie Randall, and wife Vena Mae Sampson Randall.
Survivors include his son Ronnie Randall and wife of Watson, Okla.; daughter Wilma Randall of Florida; two granddaughters: Regina Randall of Tahlequah, and Stephanie Campbell of Lonoke, Ark.; grandson Jeremy Randall of Lonoke; stepdaughters: Sharon Whitecloud of Okmulgee, Pam Palmer of Okmulgee, Peggy Powell of Preston, and Anita Sue Powell of Preston: stepsons: Rusty Powell of Preston and Rick Powell of Okmulgee along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for Willie will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Grave Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Lowe and Reverend Norman Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at the Randall Family Cemetery in Henryetta. A Wake service will be held at Grave Creek Baptist Church at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 30. Friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday afternoon between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
