Teresa D. "Teri" Crawford, a longtime resident of Weleetka, died Jan. 3, 2014 at her home in Weleetka at the age of 52, Teri was born Dec. 7, 1961 in Tucson, Ariz., to Harold Dean Henry and Billie Redwine Henry. Teri grew up in Henryetta with her four sisters. She graduated from Henryetta High in the class of 1979.
Following high school, Teri was married. From that union, Teri was blessed with three wonderful daughters. Teri attended Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah and graduated from Northeastern with a degree in education. Teri began teaching in 2001, and spent her teaching career enriching the students as an elementary educator with Weleetka Public Schools and absolutely loving every minute of it. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pauline and Bill Henry and Russell and Martha Redwine.
Teri is survived by her husband: Rodney Crawford of the home; three daughters: Courtney Hare and husband Keith of Weleetka, Mandy Brill and husband Rodney of Morris, and Kasey Mosco of Weleetka; her mother and father: Harold and Billie Henry; four sisters: Lori Hudson and husband Gene of Henryetta, Cheri Vaughn and husband Howard of Weleetka, Kari Chancey and husband Dusty of Weleetka, and Merri Williams and husband Chris of Checotah; five grandchildren: Kallie and Korbyn Hare, Austyn and Khiya Mosco, and Kelby King; a host of nieces, nephews, a very special group of work family from Weleetka Public Schools; and many good friends.
Viewing for Teri will be held at Integrity Funeral Service on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Weleetka with Bro. Dale Smith officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Gene Hudson, Tom Crawford, Dusty Chancey, Chris Williams, Howard Vaughn, and Buster Crawford. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Hare, Denton Chancey, Drew Chancey, Rodney Brill, D. Dalton Chancey, Chad Vaughn, Jimbo Vaughn, Ryder Hudson, and Keifer Williams.
