The timer clock had a trio of Henryetta high school cross country runners within a tick of each other.
The three, Holly Stuart, Kaitlyn Clark and Bayligh Nye finished within one one-hundredth of a second in the two-mile run at Okemah this past weekend.
Stuart completed the run in 15:15 followed by Clark with 15:16 and Bye at 15:17. Those finishes put them in 14th through 16 place and, coupled with a tenth place finish by Mya Powders, gave the Lady Knights second in the overall point tally.
The rest of the HHS girls were out of the top 20 spots. Ashlyn Green came in 32nd, Emily Smith, 39th, and Emma Krane, 49th.
On the boys' 5K run, Nick Pak and Keaton Lollis finished eighth and ninth with Jordan Knotts taking 19th place. Pak completed the course in 20:38 with Lollis finishing in 20:42. Knotts had a 21:36 time.
The rest of the team included Kanon Bailey, 36th, Isaac Matlock, 47th, Garett Witt, 48th, Joey Watson, 49th, Dalton Key, 58th, Bailey Graffman, 66th and Cody Krains, 74th.
The Knights had a total of 100 team points for fourth place.
This Saturday, Henryetta will be hosting their own cross country meet at Nichols Park.
