Over 2,000 spectators enjoyed two nights of rodeo action Saturday and Sunday at the annual Jim Shoulders Living Legends rodeo.
"This was a great turnout and it shows the rodeo popularity here just keeps getting bigger," said chamber of commerce rodeo committee head Tammie Hiatt.
Starting off each performance during the two nights was Miss Rodeo USA Harmony Latham leading the procession of participants.
The California native was in town for several days and event spent time at the Henryetta elementary school visiting with youngsters and handing out complimentary tickets.
Each evening spectators got to laugh at the antics and comedy of nationally-known rodeo clown Gizmo McCracken.
The let night of the rodeo included a drawing for a gas grill with Patricia Peacock receiving the prize donated by Walmart.
"We have some of the top performers who attend the Living Legends rodeo each year," said Hiatt. "This draws more attention to Henryetta." This was the 23rd year for the rodeo.
