band show off“We will be performing the music and show that will be used in the OSSAA contest,” said band director Alan Montgomery.
He said the band will be at Cameron Field at 7 p.m. and urged everyone to attend. “Our band has worked hard and we want to show off what they have learned. It doesn’t matter if you have a child or relative in the band, we want to invite everyone.”
Montgomery said the band will perform the contest show with the public in the grandstands. “After that, we want the parents to come onto the field and stand next to their student. We will play the music again so the parents can listen to their child’s contribution to the overall show.
The contest will be held Oct. 12 at McAlester.
