Ida Mae Weder, a former resident of the Hanna area and recent resident of Eufaula, died Oct. 20, 2016 in Tulsa at the age of 79. Ida was born April 3, 1937 in Ryan, Okla., to Carl Larkin Garrison and Lottie Lillian Bryant Garrison.
Ida grew up and attended school in Ryan. After her high school years, Ida went to work for the telephone company in Liberal, Kansas as an operator where she worked for several years. She then moved to Enid where she worked at the state school as a nurse. Ida later transferred to Western State Hospital in Ft. Supply where she worked until 1978. In 1985, Ida purchased the Snack Shack in Mooreland and she operated that business for approximately 20 years until 2005.
Ida married the love of her life, Raymond Ray Weder in Perryton, Texas in 1964.
Ida is preceded in death by her mother and father, Carl and Lottie L Garrison; her daughter, Brenda Weder; a granddaughter, Destiny Garrison; a sister, Lorene Hammontree; a brother, Fred Garrison; a brother, Carl "Sonny" Garrison; sister, Wanda Seward; and brother, Bill Garrison.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Ray Weder of Mooreland; a son, Rickey Garrison and wife Glenda of Woodward; a daughter, Linda Vogele and husband Joe of Shidler; a son, Carl Weder and wife Susan of Eufaula; and a daughter, Janice Weder of Woodward; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; brother, Ledger Garrison and wife Lahoma of Hanna; a sister, Freda "Sally" Hinz and husband Richard of Liberal; by other extended family and many good friends.
Viewing will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 from 9 a.m. until noon at Integrity Funeral Service, 410 E. Trudgeon, Henryetta, OK.
A funeral service for Ida is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2016 at Integrity Chapel with Jacob Vogele officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Hanna Cemetery in Hanna under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Joe Lynn Vogele, Joshua Vogele, Jason Vogele, Brian Garrison, Dillon Pratt, and Randy Smith. Honorary bearers will be Ledger Garrison, Travis Pratt, Caleb Garrison, Justin Williams, Dalton Vogele, Landon Vogele, Levi Vogele, Grady Vogele, Kyler Garrison, and Atlas Smith.
