Brian James Snow, longtime Henryetta area resident, died Nov. 11, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 55. Brian was born March 16, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan to Edward Curtis Snow and Louise Wright.
He graduated from Claremore High School then joined the US Army National Guard and served faithfully for over 20 years before his honorable discharge. Brian worked as a machine operator at Permacast, a foundry. For the last 19 years, Brian has lived in the Henryetta area. Brian married the love of his life, Eulalia Rogez Dillon Sept. 20, 1997 in Henryetta. They remained happily married for 19 years until his death. Brian was a longtime member of the American Legion, Post 85 where he served three terms as Post Commander and several terms as Vice Commander. He was also a devout Christian and attended the Abundant Life Pentecostal Holiness Church of Henryetta.
Brian is preceded in death by his father, Edward Snow; his step sister, Cathy Louann Miller; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Eulalia Snow of the home in Henryetta; five brothers: Howard Barnes III of Claremore, Jeff Snow and wife Elizabeth of Pinole, Calif., Peter Barnes and wife Annmarie of Salem, Conn., Frank Barnes and wife Deanna of Owasso, and Shane Barnes and wife Wendy of Owasso; two sisters: Susannah Johnson and husband John of Riverside, Calif., and Kimberly Lock and husband Brad of Timnath, Colo.; his mother and step-father, Louise Barnes and Howard Barnes, Jr. of Emory, Utah; his beloved furbabies which he always received unconditional love; by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family; and many good friends.
Viewing for Brian will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from noon until 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Abundant Life Pentecostal Holiness Church with Bro.Chester Cantrell, Rev. Suzie Stephens, and Rev. Becky Watkins officiating. An afternoon committal service and interment will be held at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta. Military honors will be provided by U.S. Army.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Snow, Shane Barnes, Frank Barnes, John Johnson, Victor Williams, and Alfred Hendrix. Honorary pallbearers will be Kirk Crawford and Brandon Farrell.
