Henryetta police are waiting for autopsy results to help investigate the death of a 55 year old Henryetta man.
burlington logoAccording to police chief Steve Norman, John Josie was said to have been hit by a Burlington-Northern train around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Norman said the train had apparently been going between 20 and 25 miles per hour when the engineer said he saw a man sitting on the tracks. He told officers that the man never moved despite the train closing in on him. Josie was struck by the engine and died at the scene.
The chief said the state medical examiner will be conducting an autopsy.
