After a year’s hiatus, the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce is bringing back the Christmas Bucks program starting Nov. 21.
santa bucksThis year the program is being done with a new twist as three lucky shoppers will share in three thousand dollars in “Henryetta Christmas Bucks.” Those Christmas bucks can be spent at any one of the merchants participating in the program.
Shoppers making a purchase at one of the participating merchants will be given one drawing ticket for each $20 purchase. Though the drawings will be by ticket numbers, the Chamber recommends that shoppers print their name and phone number on the deposit tickets. Ticket holders are also encouraged to retain their ticket stubs until the winning tickets are confirmed.
This year three drawings will be conducted for $1,000 each. Those drawings will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6, Tuesday, Dec. 13 and Tuesday Dec. 20.
Winning numbers will be posted at the Chamber office at 9 a.m. on the morning of the drawing. They will also be at city hall, recorded on the chamber phone as well as the Chamber and Henryettan.com Online Newspaper Facebook pages.
Winning ticket holders will have until 3 p.m. to following day to redeem their prize money. Unclaimed winnings will be distributed in the following two drawings. If there are any unclaimed funds at the last drawing, they will be rolled over into the 2017 programs.
All Christmas Bucks must be spent with a participating merchant by Jan. 14, 2017.
