Rosana Whitlow, a resident of Dustin, died Nov. 29, 2016 in Sapulpa at the age of 90. She was born July 15, 1926 in Dustin to Shawnee Harper and Katie (Smith) Harper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Whitlow, two sons, Eastman Whitlow and Norman Whitlow, and daughter Linda Kaye.
Rosana is survived by her six children: Rufus Whitlow and wife Patricia of Okmulgee, Rubeen Hicks of Sapulpa, Sharon Lowe and husband Marvin of Weleetka, Leroy Whitlow of Dustin, Troy Whitlow and wife Sherry of Dustin, and Kristie Bradwell and husband Daniel of Lawton; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends.
Wake services are scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2016 at Thewahle Indian Baptist Church in Dustin.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Thewahle Indian Baptist Church in Dustin with Rev. Marvin Lowe, officiating. Interment will follow at Whitlow Family Cemetery in Dustin. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Presnell, Michael Whitlow, Clinton Hicks, Silas Mitchell, Asa Mitchell, and Edmond Whitlow. Honorary Pallbearers will be the women leaders of the church, Betty Frye, Dorothy Whitlow, Sharon Mouss, Sarah Winney, Esther West, and Mary Harjo.
