Over a century of combined service to Henryetta’s American Exchange Bank was recognized this week.
Five AEB employees, Lisa Peavler, Kay Sutterfield, Nita Robertson, Kenny Tyler and June Williams have a combined 125 years with the bank.
They received special certificates recognizing them for their service.
“This is something that we are proud of,” said bank president Terri Thompson. “The dedication to the bank and our customers by these five is immeasurable. We take pride in the fact that we are Henryetta’s hometown bank and all of our staff feel the commitment to the community.”
june williamsJune Williams started working at AEB in 1960. Currently she is the assistant cashier and bookkeeper. She and her husband, Sonny, are the parents of two children: Marty and wife Kaela and Randy and wife Ashley. She said she enjoys working with figures and helping customers balance their checkbooks.
Kenny Tyler started with American Exchange in 1980 and is the vice-president of AEB. He and his wife, Cynthia are the parents of two daughters: Shara Moore and husband Travis and Shaese Paul. He said working at AEB is enjoyable because he can help so many people.kenny tyler
nita robertsonNita Robertson began with AEB in 1996 and is the real estate loan officer at the bank. She and her husband David are the parents of four children. “This is a great place to work because it feels like one big family,” she said.
Kay Sutterfield started out as a part time employee at American Exchange in 2000 then went full time in 2001 working as a loan teller. She and her husband Robert, are the parents of two sons: Greg Powell and Josh Butterfield and wife Alyssa. “I get to work with the friendliest people in town,” she said of her time at the bank.kay sutterfield
lisa peavelerLisa Peavler is a teller at AEB and started working there in 2010. She and her husband, Joe are the parents of two daughters: Raylyn Morrison and Raychel Morrison. She said working at AEB enables her to enjoy being with the public.
