Charles Andrew Keller, a resident of Magnolia, Ark., died Dec. 24, 2016 in Magnolia at the age of 64. He was born Nov. 24, 1952 in Lawton to Andrew Jack Keller and Betty Ann (Johnson) Keller.
Charles grew up in Henryetta and was a graduate of Henryetta High School Class of 1971. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1984 and studied on scholarship in the Peoples Republic of China in 1986-87. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a doctorate in History in 1996 and was presently employed at Southern Arkansas University.
He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Ann Keller November 20, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, San San Keller of the home in Magnolia; step daughter, Angela Zhu of China; father, Jack Keller and wife Sylvia of Henryetta; two brothers: Richard Keller of Pleasant Valley and Steven Keller and wife Michelle of Waco, Texas; uncle, Murl Keller of Buffalo, Minnesota; also by nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Integrity Chapel with Rex Walcher officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Toby Notley, Carl Keller, Jimmie Crain, Philip Crain, Randy Thompson and Robert Harris.
