Seven of the HHS weightlifters finished in the top ten overall ranks at Hillsdale this past weekend.
Two of the Knights, Blake VanMeter and Rhett Williams, finished second. VanMeter was competing in the 181 weight class and posted a total of 1.080 in his lifts. He was second in the squat lift with 405 pounds and second in deadlift with 460 pounds. He came in fourth with a 215 bench.
Williams took first in the bench with 325 pounds, second in squat with 500 pounds and second in deadlift with 560. He had an overall meet weight of 1,385 pounds.
Fifth place overall went to Kobe Johnson in the 145 pound class with 675 overall pounds and Jordan Hart competing in the 157 class with a total of 810.
Brannon Murphy tied together a total of 880 pounds for sixth n his 198 weight class followed by T.J.Boyles in ninth with 740 pounds.
Cameron Slyconish was in the 242 class and placed tenth overall with 740 pounds. Following him was Tate Wisdom with 730 pounds and Thomas Weston with 750 pounds.
The Knights will be going to Checotah Feb. 10 for their next power lift meet.
