Larry Joe Andrews, a resident of Pleasant Valley, died Feb. 5, 2017 in Okmulgee at the age of 61. He was born Aug. 1, 1955 in Henryetta to David Lee Andrews and Robbie Jo (Brison).
He was a member of the Schulter Baptist Church and a past member of the Schulter Fire Department. He was a council member of the town of Schulter, Awana leader, and little league coach.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Andrews, grandparents, Joseph and Vernia Brison, step-father, Charles Summers, and stepfather Marshall Martin.
Larry is survived by two sons:, Marshall Andrews and wife Misty of Morris and Joseph Lawrence Andrews of McAlester; two daughters: Shannon Dillon of Muskogee and Melissa Tabor and husband Trenton of Eufaula; five grandchildren: Dakota Andrews, Dayton Andrews, Makayla Morton, Waylon James, and Tayden Tabor; mother, Robbie Summers of Eufaula; three brothers: Darrell Andrews, Randy Andrews and wife LaRhonda of Henryetta and Ricky Andrews and wife Ronnia of Schulter; two sisters: Loresa Sue Foster and husband Eddie of Schulter and Frankie Mayhar and husband Allen of Eufaula, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Sharla Stephenson and Rev. Ryan Wells, officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
