Leona Madeline Dodge, a longtime resident of rural Henryetta, died Feb. 11, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 92. She was born Dec. 10, 1924 in Henryetta to Robert Lee Stewart and Anna Mae (Gestes) Stewart.
She married Emmett Dodge July 5, 1942. She attended the Dewar United Pentecostal Church. She was an accomplished pianist with a love for classical piano. She was also an artist and won many ribbons for her paintings.
She is preceded in death by her husband Emmett Dodge in 1992, her parents, Robert Lee and Anna Mae Stewart, two sisters, Lucille Stewart and Janice Cox, also by a step brother, Lloyd Chrysler.
She is survived by two sons: Dennis Dodge and wife LaDonna of Henryetta and Bruce Dodge of Tulsa; two grandsons: Steve Dodge and wife Kalli of Henryetta and Clayton Dodge and wife Leslie of Morris; four great grandchildren: Tanner Dodge and Abbi Dodge of Henryetta;
Halee Dodge and Alexis Dodge of Morris; Also by her siblings: James Chrysler and wife Bobbi Red Fork, Troy Lee Stewart and wife Betty of Kellyville, Loretta Holt of Berryhill, Carlton Stewart of Sapulpa and Belinda McGrew of Tulsa; also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Viewing with family present to greet friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be, Clayton Dodge, Tanner Dodge, Eddie Wilhite, Bill Dodge, Carlton Dodge, and Van Guillotte.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Dewar United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Brett Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
