| Okmulgee County deputies are investigating the death of a woman behind a motel in Henryetta. The body of a woman was found in a pile of asphalt rubble behind the Trail Motel west of Henryetta Saturday afternoon. County sheriff Eddy Rice said the investigation is in the early stages and has not released any identification on the person. The body was not visible from the motel. Because of the condition of the remains, authorities believe the person has been exposed to the weather for over a week. There was no apparent effort to cover up the body. |
