colorrun1There was a multi-color cloud over Nichols Park Saturday morning as nearly 50 runners participated in the McIntosh Tumbling Color Run.
Postponed from last month due to weather, the run was held to raise money for local youngsters to attend the national competition in Wisconsin.
The runners were sprayed with packets of colored powder when they started the run then kept getting more hues layered on at various points throughout the course.
They will be going up against some 2,500 other tumblers bouncing on trampolines, doing floor exercises and more during the week-long event.
This is not the first time Henryetta youngsters have gone to the national event. Last year several returned with some championships.
