When there is talk about building a better world, some thoughts turn to actual construction.
At the weekly Henryetta library summer reading program Monday, Bill Crosby was the guest speaker and told about how a good work ethic goes far.reading1
Crosby touched on helping others in the projects, as well as actually laying brick, rock and concrete blocks.
To illustrate his talk, he provided some of the tools he has used over the years and displayed photos of the completed houses and churches.
reading2The program next Monday will be the Henryetta Girl Scout Troop 466. Scout leader Tammy Smith will be discussing how the Girl Scout program builds lives for those who participate.
The reading program is held at 1 p.m. each Monday at the Henryetta civic center.
