Just over a month remains before voters will be going to the polls for the annual school board elections.
One more deadline is looming before that election according to Ava Ridgeway, county election board secretary.
She pointed out voters have until Friday, Jan. 17 to register or change their registration.
"People need to come by the election board at the county court house before that time," she said.
A change has been made in two precincts that will affect voters in Okmulgee and the Beggs area.
Precinct 4, originally centered at the George Nigh Rehabilitation Center, has been changed to the Jubilee Christian Center at 12430 North 230 Road.
Voters who have been casting ballots in Precinct 29 at Wengate Lodge will now be going to the Sonrise Community Church at 2980 North 208 Road in Beggs.
"Those voters affected by the precinct change should have received a new registration card in the mail," Ridgeway said.

The school board seats and a race for the Okmulgee city council will be decided Feb. 11.
