Henryetta school officials are gambling that the weather will not interfere with the calendar any more.
Students lost seven days of classrooms that were originally dedicated as "snow days" because of the state softball tournament, water leak and five days of snow and ice.
Superintendent John Walker said the schedule had called for classes to be dismissed Jan. 31, Feb. 14 and 28, March 14, April 4 and 21 and May 2.
"These are now school days," he said. "The only days left for us to be out, besides Spring Break, will be on January 20th, MLK holiday, and the Friday before Easter, April 18. If we miss any other days of school, we will be attending these days."
In the event additional days have to be dismissed, Walker said the school board will be looking at adding more time to the existing school day or moving the end of school later into the year.
