Westbound traffic on Interstate 40 was choked down to one lane after a semi overturned around 11 Sunday morning.
The semi was eastbound on I-40 when it went out of control and crossed the center median about 100 yards east of the 237 mile maker. The impact into a cable barrier flipped the semi onto its side and caused its load to be strewn across the median.
A second vehicle is believed to have been struck by the truck. Ambulances were called b ut no condition given as to the drivers of either vehicle. OHP Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
