Each year the Henryetta Education Foundation holds a fundraiser to help local students through grants, scholarships and money for special programs.
This past year, the Foundation managed to provide $5,000 for students to expose the students to various arts.
There were 41 students from the high school who watched the musical, Phantom of the Opera, and 100 middle school students who attended showings of Charlotte's Web and Treasure Island.
Next month, the Foundation will be handing out scholarship money to six top HHS seniors during the annual awards assembly.
More money will be presented nest fall to teachers throughout the entire school system for classroom grants.
