A Henryetta man died in a single vehicle crash near the intersection of Dustin Road and John Artussee Road around 7:30 Thursday morning.
Trooper Mike Choate said James Standridge, 85, Henryetta, was apparently driving west on John Artussee Road when he allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and ran off the roadway and into a residential yard. His vehicle, a 2000 Chevrolet, struck a piece of farm equipment then rolled onto it's side pinning the victim in the car.
Standridge was trapped in the vehicle until Weleetka EMS personnel could free him. he was pronounced dead at the scene.
OHP Trooper Choate said it was raining at the time of the crash.
