Henryetta saw two track members take the platform to receive medals Saturday at the state meet in Catoosa.
HHS sophomore Bailee Worlow placed fifth in the girls 400 meter dash. Her time of 1:02.17 was less than two seconds behind first place. She also tied for seventh in the 200 meter dash with a 26.75. That tie was with Brianna Harris from Okmulgee.
The third place medal for the 3A boys pole vault went to HHS senior Dalton Key. He posted a 12 foot vault. Ahead of him was Jame Waller from Marlow with a 12.6 vault and first place vault of 14 feet by Gavin Harrison from Atoka.
In the other individual events, Henryetta freshman James Martin finished ninth in the boys 300 meter hurdles.
Henryetta’s boys relay team placed 16th in the 4x400 and 14th in the 4x800.
