UPDATE: Shortly after the press meeting, Police Chief Steve Norman announced Toby Holaby was found at a home in Schulter. He was taken to the Henryetta police department for questioning.

Following the shooting death of Edwin Reid Wednesday morning, Henryetta police say they are looking for a person of interest.
Reid was found shot to death in a home in the 700 block of West Division around 9 a.m. “When officers arrived at the scene they found several bullet holes in the walls and Mr. Reid was dead in a back room,” the chief said.edwin reid
During the day-long investigation, the chief said they are seeking Toby Holaby, 26, as a person of interest. “We are not calling him a suspect,” the chief said,” but we can’t find him and want to talk to him.” He urged Holaby to come to the police department or anyone who knows where he is to urge him to come in or call the Henryetta police department at 918-652-3106.
holabyThe death was reported by a person who lives at the residence. That individual was not a suspect in the murder.
“We have gotten some tips but none that leads us to a suspect,” he said.
This is the first murder within the Henryetta city limits since 2015.
The chief said Henryetta is a safe community for the most part. He urged residents to keep an eye out in their neighborhoods for any suspicious activity. “No one knows who belongs in a neighborhood better than those who live there.”
The murder investigation was aided by members of the District 25 Violent Crimes Task Force.
Norman said the task force was activated and that brought in a dozen investigators to help the local police department.
