Two helicopters and all of the ambulances in the county were called to the scene of a crash east of Henryetta Wednesday evening.
crashAccording to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, four people were injured in the single-vehicle accident near the intersection of Arbeka Road and Holly Road around 7:30 p.m.
Trooper Brad Giulioli said a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Anna Kanada, 19, Okmulgee, was eastbound on Holly Road when it went off the right side of the roadway. The driver was said to have over corrected causing the vehicle to roll over several times finally landing on its top in a field.
Kanada was flown to St. Francis hospital in Tulsa for treatment of injuries to her head arm, leg and body. She is said to be in critical condition.
Four passengers in the vehicle also required medical treatment.
A 17-year-old juvenile was taken by private car to Hillcrest Henryetta hospital where she was treated for leg and arm injuries. She was later released.
Titusie Berryhill, 28, Wetumka, was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in critical condition.
Katie Childers, 30, Henryetta, and Edward Jacome, 31, Henryetta, were admitted to St. John Hospital for their injuries. Both are said to be in stable condition.
