Two home runs and several well-placed RBI hits gave the HHS Lady Knights their 2015 regional softball championship Thursday.
Playing against Chandler, the Lady Knights battled back from a 10-3 deficit at one point for a 13-11 win.

A two-run homer by Mykaela wallace put the Lady Knights out in the lead 2-0 but only for one inning. A three-run homer in the second put the Chandler Lady Lions ahead 3-2.
Henryetta would tie it up when Maddie James got on with a single that allowed Kendal Perez to score.
In the third, Chandler scored on an RBI and three consecutive home runs good for a 10-3 lead.
Henryetta fans started breathing again in the fifth inning when Kamarie and Mykaela Wallace both got on base. With two outs on Henryetta, Haley Cook slapped a double scoring Kamarie then Perez got her home run that put the lady Knights back within two runs of a tie.
Chandler picked up another homer in the sixth but the Lady Knights were not finished.
Maddie Gouge and Maddie James each got on base then Alyssa Osterdock got a big hit to center scoring James. Kamarie Wallace had already singled leaving the bases loaded. Mykaela hit into centerfield scoring Gouge and Kamarie to tie the game at 11-11.
Haley Cook's hit to center put the win in the bag scoring Osterdock and Mykaela.
